Mental health issues range in severity, but truly effect many of us in one form or another.
This yoga workshop will offer a dynamic sequence involving strength-building and stillness along with guided breathwork and mediations aimed to soothe the nervous system and relax the mind. Open invitation to deviate from the sequence in effort to honor the variations and postures that suit your needs.
Expect to find yourself propped up by pillows, blankets, and blocks at least once, and to gain a better understanding of yourself from the outside in through both physically active and passive practice.
*This event is complementary to health care workers (those who serve, give care, and teach in their daily lives): early childhood / elementary / high school teachers, counselors, nurses, doctors, paramedics.
